Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr Staff Systems Engineer - MBSE Execution Lead - MBRIA. This position can be located in Roy, UT, Huntsville, AL, Colorado Springs, CO, or Manhattan Beach, CA, and supports the Sentinel program. What You'll Get to Do
The Sentinel program has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join the team supporting activities including use case development, requirements definition / allocation, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification & validation, and requirements traceability.
Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:
• Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts
• Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature architecture content of large programs design
• Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model
• Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical)
• Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis
• Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration)
Basic Qualifications (Must Have):
• Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with at least 14 years of progressive engineering experience; 12 years with Master's; 10 years with PhD.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
• 8+ years of Experience implementing and using model-based systems engineering tools, practices, and methods
• 5+ years of Strong program execution skills; demonstrated ability to meet program technical, cost, and schedule milestones
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
• 3+ years experience in developing Enterprise architectures using UAF and associated languages
• 3+ years experience in integrated digital technologies supporting various technical baselines
• 3+ years experience in developing system architectures using SysML
• 3+ years experience developing software architectures using UML
• 3+ years experience leading engineering teams of various sizes
• 3+ years experience mentoring and developing junior engineers

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Primary Level Salary Range: $166,500.00 - $249,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
