Our client, a digital marketing agency in Nashville, TN, is looking for an SEO Manager with some Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) experience to join their team in a full-time capacity.

This is a hybrid opportunity in Nashville. To be considered for this role, you must have the availability to be in the office 4 days/week - WFH Wednesday. The client is open to candidates who require a relocation package.

The SEO Manager will play a critical role in developing and executing advanced SEO strategies while integrating emerging GEO techniques. This role requires a blend of technical SEO expertise, strategic thinking, and a passion for innovation in the evolving search and AI landscape. You'll work closely with clients to uncover business challenges, identify growth opportunities, and deliver measurable results through organic search.

SEO Manager Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that drive organic visibility, traffic, and engagement
-Leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) to enhance content and search performance
-Conduct keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, and Ahrefs
-Optimize websites for technical SEO including metadata, site speed, crawlability, and mobile performance
-Manage local SEO and long-tail keyword strategies to improve regional discoverability
-Monitor and analyze performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools
-Create and present insightful reports with actionable recommendations to clients
-Lead link-building and content amplification efforts to support organic growth
-Collaborate with content, PR, and social teams to align SEO with broader marketing efforts
-Stay current on SEO trends, GEO strategies, and AI-driven search behavior
-Translate complex SEO and AI concepts into clear, business-focused language for clients
-Lead client calls, workshops, and strategy sessions with a consultative approach

SEO Manager Requirements:
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO or digital marketing
-Proven success in driving organic growth and improving search rankings
-Previous agency experience preferred 
-Proficiency in Google Analytics, Search Console, and keyword research tools
-Experience using AI tools to support SEO and content strategy
-Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and technical SEO fundamentals
-Strong understanding of mobile SEO and local optimization best practices
-Excellent communication and client-facing skills
-Passion for learning and adapting in a fast-paced, evolving digital environment

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
