The Team
We are seeking an M&A Specialist to join American Tower’s U.S. Tower division’s Product and Strategy team. The M&A Specialist assists with fueling inorganic growth activities by analyzing and researching real estate opportunities within the wireless infrastructure industry. Day-to-day you will support the business by providing information to our marketing team and negotiators.
What You Can Offer Us
- Maintain and update the team’s database by finding and researching digital real estate sites across the United States.
- Develop efficient ways to use satellite images and search engines to increase leads.
- Provide management with ongoing communication and reports about the status of data projects.
- Work with the M&A team to research and verify leads.
- Coordinate data, research projects, and perform database cleanup.
- Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
- Verify entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
- Assist the Marketing department by answering and forwarding inbound calls and routing them to the appropriate person or department.
- Assist the Marketing department by reviewing collateral and cleaning up data lists for outgoing marketing campaigns.
- Perform administrative tasks such as ordering office supplies and handling mail, freight, and other inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least one year of data entry or related office experience required.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (including Word and Excel).
- Ability to enter data quickly and accurately.
- Basic understanding of databases.
- Salesforce experience preferred.
- Great attention to detail.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
