Our financial services client is looking for a Sr. Content Manager to work a 12-month assignment (40 hours/week). Candidate must be able to work onsite in NYC 5 days/week (this client will not consider hybrid/remote candidates).

Role Overview
Your primary role will be to work with a team of product managers on mobile and web platforms, focusing on features related to benefits digital experiences. You will assist Product Managers in writing Agile user stories, grooming the backlog, and preparing sprints for development. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with design and development teams to ensure requirement readiness and help deliver a user experience that is scalable, intuitive, and easy to use.

Key Responsibilities

Product Management

  • Work in an Agile development environment to develop phased delivery and go-to-market plans in collaboration with product, technology, analytics, design, and business partners.
  • Participate in workstreams with cross-functional teams (strategy, product, design, technology, finance, controls, operations, marketing) to prioritize delivery roadmaps.
  • Support communications with stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Assist with content delivery process improvements and automation efforts, including migration of content, QA testing for accuracy, and coordination between multiple teams.
  • Collaborate with a tight-knit team of Product Managers, including the Product Owner.

Product Delivery

  • Gather and refine requirements to drive value in accordance with customer and business priorities.
  • Work closely with Scrum teams to create requirements, prioritize the backlog, review in-sprint progress, and address impediments.
  • Ensure features meet all acceptance criteria and are ready for production.
  • Gain experience with product management tools and practices, including Agile methodologies, Jira, and design workflows.

Content Delivery Oversight & Management

  • Oversee and manage responsibilities such as:
    • Gathering and refining requirements to add, update, or remediate benefits content within a complex content structure.
    • Defining Acceptance Criteria and Automated Functional Testing (AFT) for content changes across UI and service teams; familiarity with Gherkin is desirable.
    • Collaborating with Content Management teams to produce content for QA testing and production deployments; familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager and Digital Asset Manager is a plus.
    • Working closely with Scrum teams to ensure readiness for production.
    • Navigating and leveraging Jira tools effectively.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of digital product management experience, with a focus on content delivery.
  • Strong experience with Agile product development techniques and practices, including Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while taking ownership of individual responsibilities.
