MDA is seeking a Staff SEIT Lead Systems Engineer based out of Linthicum, MD or Annapolis Junction. 
Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with ASIC, FPGA, digital, and analog hardware engineers utilizing your knowledge of systems engineering methods, tools and techniques 
• Demonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle - Focus on trade studies, white papers, analysis of alternatives (AoA), Risk Reduction activities (RR) 
• Ability to operate in a team environment and collaborate across multifunctional teams to develop innovative solutions 
• Support close out program reviews (e.g., SRR, SFR, SDR, PDR, CDR, SVR, TRR, peer reviews, Pre-test reviews, Post Test Reviews, Pre-Ship reviews, Etc.
• Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements.
• Manage the vertical and horizontal technical integration throughout the product teams and program life cycle. 
• Collect, manage, and report the program metrics and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs). 
• Manage risk and opportunity and the production of core engineering work products and track the work products and associated program dependencies in the program schedule. 
• Coordinate between the System Architect, Chief Engineer, Product Team Lead(s), program manager, and customer to ensure the integrity and executability of the program technical baseline. 
This position is contingent on Clearance 
This position will serve on-site in Linthicum/ Annapolis Junction, MD
Basic Qualifications for Staff SEIT Lead Systems Engineer:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 12 years of related experience, or 10 years with a Master's Degree, or 8 years with a PhD. 
• Experience facilitating internal and customer collaboration to capture and enhance engineering artifacts 
• Demonstrated knowledge of Hardware/Software/Digital design and engineering through full product life cycle 
• Demonstrated experience in mission operations, requirements management, system architecture development, and CONOPs 
• Demonstrated Backlog Planning and Management 
• Demonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle - Focus on trade studies, white papers, analysis of alternatives (AoA), Risk Reduction activities (RR).
• Experience in managing risk, opportunity, the production of core engineering work products, and associated program dependencies in the program schedule (IMS).
• Experience in coordinating between the System Architect, Chief Engineer, Product Team Lead(s), program manager, and customer to ensure the integrity and executability of the program technical baseline.
• Experience in evaluating future and planning the transitioning technology at the sub-systems for Engineering Manufacturing & Development (EMD).
• Candidate must be a US Citizen 
Clearance: Candidate must currently have and be able to maintain the necessary US Government security clearance per customer requirements
Preferred Qualifications for Staff SEIT Lead Systems Engineer: 

• Advanced Degrees in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields 
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge in design, development, creation, and modification of digital logic designs implemented in FPGA, or ASIC solutions. 
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge in simulation and verification of Digital Logic designs, requirements, and supporting validation at the system level. 
• Experience with ASIC Specification generation and verification. 
• Multi-Disciplinary Engineering exposure (Software, Hardware, Electrical) and strong ability to communicate cross functionally. 
• Experience leading technical teams. 
• Demonstrated Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML). 
• Experience with Earned Value Management. 
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering processing from generation of an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) to Work Product Breakdown into Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for thedevelopment of complex systems of systems. 
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly
Primary Level Salary Range: $169,000.00 - $265,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
