The position will be responsible for the following:
• Collaborate with Navy operator and requirement community gaining an understanding of critical mission threads and associated capability gaps
• Lead an integrated mission analysis team to identify customer capability shortfalls and analyze potential solutions
• Develop, organize, and lead teams to successfully execute targeted analyses - which could include consultant engagement and third-party studies, and technical assessments.
• Refine or innovate new team processes to improve efficiency and product quality
• Conduct senior leadership briefings to provide insight of warfighter capability gaps and mission threads to help focus internal investments
• Leverage subject matter expertise from across Northrop Grumman and stakeholder community to develop solutions that provide impactful growth opportunities
• Leverage USG knowledge and information to identify relevant mission threads, technology gaps, and gain a better understanding of the threat environment
• Support the business development and capture teams activities by providing voice of the customer and market intelligence
• Manage applicable CRADA (Cooperative Research and Development Agreement) and S&T (Science and Technology) contract vehicles to support mission analysis studies
• Leverage CRADAs to introduce the selected technologies/capabilities to Operator Community and demonstrate mission-value with an aim to incorporate them into a Fleet Kill-Chain Analysis (FKA) and or wargame
• Make recommendations to division senior leadership on development projects relating to new products and/or industries, technologies, or services that support warfighter capability needs
• Develop strategies that align MLSS existing product line and new recommended product offerings with mission threads that provide impactful growth opportunities for the business unit
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors +8 years of experience or a Masters and +6 years of experience.
• 3+ years' experience with program management, customer management, capture, and/or business development or directly relatable experience
• Experience working with operational analysis tools and performing mission level studies
• Self-directed leader with exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
• Active DoD Secret clearance; or DoE equivalent and eligible TS/SCI/SAP
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience working with the Naval Science and Technology enterprise
• 3+ years' experience working with operational analysis tools and performing mission level studies
• Advanced Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) or Business discipline
• Active TS/SCI at the time of the application
• Broad network of key customers in the Naval Science and Technology enterprise.
• Working knowledge of DoD requirements development, budgeting and acquisition process
Salary Range: $162,300.00 - $255,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
