Palm Health Resources, a premier healthcare staffing firm, is currently seeking a dedicated Surgical Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a permanent position in Texas. Position details:

• Position type is Permanent full time
• Patient population is pre teen to Geriatrics
• Duties: medication management, patient education, first assist in the OR, post and pre opp rounding on patients, minimal invasive techniques, etc.
• Most cases seen are colectomies and rectal resection
• The group prefers a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of experience and they will take a candidate without direct colorectal surgical experience, but they must have surgical background
• Schedule is Monday through Friday with no weekends and rotating call.
• There will be daily rounding, but this will be a mix of both inpatient and outpatient
• The newly hired will be first assisting 2-3 days a week depending on surgery cases for the day
• Active Texas license preferred but willing to wait on a license
• Proficient in EPIC is preferred
