Apex Systems is seeking a SWIFT Analyst for a large financial client. The position is a 12 mo. Contract position that will require candidates to sit on a hybrid schedule (3x days onsite/2 days remote) in either Richmond, VA or Kennesaw, GA. The position will be primarily focused on ensuring the SWIFT software is properly installed, configured, and supported for functional and non-functional requirements. Pay Range: $72-77/hr.

12 mo. Contract position (potential to extend up to 18 mo. based upon performance and funding

Client Job Description:


Individual will be a part of Swift Development Team (CIO) working with CTO Production Support Partners and Project partners.


SWIFT technologist is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that SWIFT provided software is installed, configured, and supported to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Requires knowledge for different services provided by the SWIFT network.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements.
  • Participate and guide team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
  • Perform proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
  • Implement solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications:

· 5-10+ years in Technology industry

· 3-5 years hands-on experience in installing patches, maintaining, troubleshoot and testing SWIFT products: SWIFT Alliance Gateway, SWIFT Alliance Access, SWIFT Web Platform, SWIFT Net Link

· Able to demonstrate a knowledge of all SWIFT messaging formats.

· Demonstrated experience in SWIFT protocols.

· Strong communication skills - written, verbal, visual presentations, and effective listening skills.

· Ability and desire to think creatively to deliver business results both independently and as part of a team.


Top Requirements:

SWIFT Payments - 3-5 years hands-on experience in installing patches, maintaining, troubleshoot and testing SWIFT products: SWIFT Alliance Gateway, SWIFT Alliance Access, SWIFT Web Platform, SWIFT Net Link Operating Systems

3+ years of experience with applications running on AiX or Linux operating systems.

Agile Delivery - 1+ years of experience with Agile project delivery.

Risk/Regulatory/Compliance - 3+ year experience managing completion of application related documentation to meet risk, regulatory and compliance requirements.

Infrastructure - Experience with infrastructure upgrade/replacement projects a plus

Industry Formats - Knowledge of ISO20022 Payment Format a plus

Emerging Payments - Knowledge of US RTP, SEPA Instant, Fed Now or relevant Realtime payment processing formats a plus


Preferred Skills:


Experience in Alliance Messaging Hub a plus

Good understanding of the SDLC lifecycle

Experience with SWIFT Hardware Security Modules
