Job Description:

Apex Systems is currently hiring a Syrup Blender with a reputable manufacturing client. Please apply if interested and note that only qualified candidates will be contacted.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a blending technician in a manufacturing environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Able to read and write English
• Able to perform simple mathematical operations
• Able to lift and manage bulk containers of ingredients weighing up to 55lbs
• Able to bend & stoop over to make line connections
• Able to take initiative
• Decision making and analytical ability
• Experience in a manufacturing or lab experience preferred
• Able to work nights, weekends, and overtime

Responsibilities:

• Prepare syrup batches by following batch and formula recipes.
• Physically weigh ingredients for addition to batch.
• Verify and make proper connections for liquid transfer (treated water & HFCS).
• Use mechanical metering systems to add batch water & HFCS.
• Complete various product tests and troubleshoot issue from formulation errors.
• Clean & sanitize all batching equipment.
• Communicate operating information and concerns to personnel on other shifts and in other departments.
• Participate in team meetings to evaluate and investigate process improvement opportunities impacting team performance.
• Perform other tasks to achieve department goals and requirements.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area throughout the shift.
• Maintain constant flow of proper syrup to all production lines.
• Perform additional job-related tasks and special projects as directed.
• Work in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), and company safety and recycling guidelines, perform the following tasks:

Onsite expectation: 100% Onsite

Pay range: $24-$26/hr
