Job Description
The Undergraduate Admission Reader is responsible for serving as a member of the Admission Committee by reading, reviewing, and recalculating GPAs of applicants to the College. The ideal candidate will have previous Undergraduate Admission or college counseling experience and be able to thoroughly review applications and render decisions in a timely manner in accordance with Undergraduate Admission’s policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for reading applications for first-year applicants to Babson College.
- Responsible for reviewing all documentation provided within the applicant’s record.
- Responsible for recalculating GPAs for files read.
- Provides detailed write-ups of application notes and interview notes that adhere to UGrad Admission review standards.
- Makes recommendations as a temporary member of the committee.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as required.

Minimum Level of Education Required Bachelor’s Degree

- Strong writing skills and ability to review full applications in a timely manner.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Envisions and proposes new methods to perform tasks that support ET&A; takes thoughtful risks; and accepts new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.
- Anticipates and embraces change; demonstrates willingness to achieve, acquire, and utilize new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions.
Working Conditions:
- This is a temporary role working up to 4 months, with the possibility for extension.
Additional Experience, Skills & Abilities:
- Master’s degree preferred.
