2 day Videographer - Tradeshow

Job Description

Our client is the marketing communications team of a manufacturing/tech company that will be attending the Photonics West tradeshow in San Francisco in January 2026. 

We're seeking a Videographer to attend 2 mornings of the event (Wednesday the 21st and Thursday the 22nd) to film 6-8 videos of the client's engineering staff speaking about products for about 3-4 minutes each. Both shoots will be from 8/8:30 to 10/10:30 AM when there are only exhibitors at the event, and before the tradeshow opens up to customers, so that there will be minimum background noise and distractions.

The Videographer will need to supply their own equipment (camera, lighting, and microphone) and be able to move around the booth during the shoot. Some of the speakers may require a few takes. These videos are not product demos, but the footage will likely be used that way.

The Videographer will provide the raw footage to the client's agency partner, ideally same day, for an expected duration of 4 hours onsite each day. No editing is needed.

To be considered, the Videographer must have at least 7 years of professional videography experience including shooting at tradeshows/conferences. 

***The Videographer should also have all their own equipment.**

Experience shooting engineering professionals talking about products is a bonus but not required.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
