Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Propulsion Mechanical Engineer and/or Propulsion Mechanical Engineer. This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Dulles, VA.
Basic Qualifications for an Associate Propulsion Mechanical Engineer:
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
• Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Be majoring in or having majored in a Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Basic Qualifications for Propulsion Mechanical Engineer:
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
• Be completing or has completed their Masters Degree from an accredited institution.
• Be majoring in or having majored in a Mechanical Engineering or related field in satellite or launch vehicle liquid propulsion systems and/or experience with related aerospace flight hardware procurements
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Preferred Qualifications for both levels:
• Supported spacecraft system design definition and component selection and/or procurements
• Authored or reviewed performance specifications, requirements and/or test procedures for related aerospace hardware procurements.
• Experience with review of engineering design analysis, manufacturing documentation, CAD models, authoring test or operations procedures
• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.7 out of 4.0 or higher
Pay Ranges for Dulles, VA
Associate Structural Mechanical Engineer: 74000 -111000
Structural Mechanical Engineer: 89,400.00 - 134,200.00
