2026 Intelligence Analyst Intern
Job Description
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's System Analysis & Simulation organization, and will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she/they will interact with users, customers and other developers.
As an intern, you'll participate in a summer internship program to develop competencies in a variety of intelligence analyst specializations that may include:
• Review of Government provided Intelligence documents
• Creation of reports documenting foreign military threats and capabilities
• Collaborating with and assisting the Threat Analysis & Warfighter Integration organization
• Participation in the Model Development Center's Agile Release Planning Event process
Basic Qualifications
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
• Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2026.
• Be majoring in International Relations, Intelligence Studies, Political Science or related degree
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026.
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
Preferred Qualifications
• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.
• Previous internship/co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
• Current DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance
• National and/or International Security studies
• Experience with military strategy
Intern Pay Range
• Undergraduate Degrees (Including graduating students planning on attending/enrolled in a full-time Master's program): $18.50 to $33.50 per hour
• Master's: $26.75 to $42.25 per hour
