ACD / Copywriter
 Duration: Through February 2027 (with potential extension)
Hours per week: Part-time (~20 hours) - must be available during typical business hours

Pay Range: $60-$70/hour Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity is available for an ACD / Copywriter with Art Direction experience to support a large-scale eCommerce content initiative across major retail channels. This role will focus on transforming product information into compelling, high-performing content and visual direction for product listings featured on leading retailer websites such as Home Depot, Walmart, and Menards. Responsibilities

• Develop copy for approximately nine product tiles per product system using product briefs, supporting documentation, and established creative guidelines
• Create concise, customer-focused content optimized for SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)
• Translate technical product data and features into clear marketing messages that drive engagement and conversion
• Provide art direction for photography and design to ensure visual assets support the content strategy
• Maintain consistency across product systems and retail platforms

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in creative strategy, copywriting, art direction, or a related discipline
• Ability to transform product specifications and technical information into compelling eCommerce marketing assets
• Proven experience optimizing content for SEO and AEO
• Strong portfolio showcasing headlines, short-form copy, and product-focused marketing content
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting retail, consumer products, manufacturing, or eCommerce brands
• Background creating content for retailer websites and digital marketplaces
• Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration across creative, marketing, and merchandising teams
• Experience developing creative systems that align copy, photography, and design across multiple product categories
