ADJUNCT LECTURER IN BUSINESS LAW
Course Description: LAW1000 is an introduction to business law and the legal system. It teaches students to identify, analyze, and handle legal issues which commonly occur in the business setting and to use law to create and capture value for businesses in areas such as contracts, business organizations and intellectual property. The course surveys a number of additional business law topics, such as torts and crimes, product liability, agency and employment, consumer protection, and securities law.
A successful applicant is an individual who:
* Holds a law (JD, LLB) degree from an accredited university and is professionally licensed.
* Has a strong record of teaching from years of experience in legal practice. Minimum five years prior professional experience preferred.
* Is enthusiastic about teaching Babson students to understand and use law to think entrepreneurially and take action to create economic and social value everywhere.
* Has a firm commitment to teaching excellence, collaboration, and inclusiveness.
* Is actively engaged as a professional.
