The Advanced Programs Deputy (APD) will be accountable for every aspect of day-to-day execution under the direction of the AP Senior Director/Lead. The APD serves an integral role in cultivating internal relationships and shaping and nurturing program culture. The APD works closely with the AP Operations lead on program management, office business battle rhythm, and will effectively integrate program demand signals in partnership with Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD) functional leadership to ensure required staffing, processes, training, and infrastructure are available to efficiently execute. The APD works closely with the AP Lead to align strategic priorities and tactical tasking, and maintain situational awareness of the programs, IRADs, Captures and related interests. This position reports directly to the AP Lead.

• Day to day contractual and programmatic change management across all aspects of AP activities

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years experience in defense or aerospace systems or related experience as defined below
• Related experience includes a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions
• 3+ years leading and/or managing teams on complex projects
• 3+ years' experience in managing programs or subcontracts in excess of $50M, inclusive of cost-type contracts
• 3+ years experience working with capture teams in developing and submitting competitive and compliant major proposals, including teaming strategies and complex subcontracting strategies
• Must have an active and current DoD Secret clearance, and ability to obtain DoD Top Secret and be SAP clearable
• Ability to travel domestically, up to 25% of the time
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
• MS Engineering or MBA
• Experience with related to ICBM, and other strategic systems technologies and products
• Leadership experience with new start activities and establishing effective change management processes
• IPT / PM experience across multiple phases of the program lifecycle
• Excellent conflict management and negotiation skills
• Demonstrated ability to make tough decisions
• Active DoD Top Secret and SCI clearance and additional SAP accesses
Salary Range: $187,700.00 - $311,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
