The Role:
The Analyst, CLO Investment Services will be assigned to a 2-3 live CLOs and will have responsibility for the daily monitoring of CLO compliance test results, regular review/updates of security reference data, and monthly Trustee Report review/approval. In addition, the Analyst will need to understand the indenture language for their assigned CLOs and provide other ongoing operational and administrative support to the Ballyrock Investment Team and the broader CLO Investment Services team. Further, the Analyst will be involved with data validations of new tools/technologies that will provide greater portfolio management capabilities for leveraged loan portfolios.
The position requires close interaction with portfolio managers, traders, legal, compliance, investment services, third party trustees, underwriters and Fidelity's Investment Operations teams.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
- BA / BS degree required. Major or concentration in legal, finance, business administration, or accounting preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years of financial services experience, with preference towards prior experience with leveraged loan/CLO operations.
- Solid understanding of the US leveraged loan market and structured finance transactions.
- Working knowledge of Wall Street Office, familiarity with Rating Agencies (Moody's, S&P, Fitch) preferred
- Experience with credit agreements, term sheets, indentures and other security offering documents.
- Ability to monitor daily CLO compliance results to ensure adherence to indenture guidelines.
- Interact with Trustee to communicate hypothetical trades and assess impact to compliance results.
- Work with external vendors to build, implement and test compliance modules for each new CLO.
- Oversight of Trustee reporting for the Ballyrock CLOs.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while integrating seamlessly with other members of the Investment & Investment Services teams.
- Reliable, self-starter, highly detail oriented, well-organized and able to manage several priorities and deadlines.

Fidelity's High Income & Alternatives Division is responsible for managing the firm's diversified high yield, leveraged loan, and emerging market debt strategies, including Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs). In addition, the group manages strategies focused on the equities of leveraged companies. Assets under management exceeded $100 billion as of year-end 2022. The division is made up of a diverse team of Investment Professionals, Traders, and Operational and Administrative Support staff.
