We are seeking a Nashville-based AO/Workday Configuration Analyst to join our People Digital Lifecycle team in Global Technology & Operations
Corporate Technology partners with AB’s Corporate business units including Audit, Administrative Services, Corporate Finance, People, Legal and Compliance, Risk and Technology (Enterprise Systems and Identify Management) to deliver technology solutions and services. They are responsible for product management, business analysis, software development, user experience, analytics and reporting, system administration and production support for the technology across these organizations.
The People Digital Lifecycle team (PDL) provides project management, business analysis, systems administration, development, and production support for the People Team in the areas of HCM, talent management and professional development, compensation, recruitment, time management, payroll, and benefits. PDL primarily provides support for all aspects of the global implementation of Workday and supports all People Team related technology products.
The AO/Workday Configuration Analyst role will be responsible for serving as a thought partner with business sponsors in People, Technology, and external vendors to provide collaboration, problem solving, and critical thinking to provide solutions across AB’s People Technical Landscape. This hands-on role will provide configuration support in all technologies and will have a sound, techno-functional understanding of the various domains of the People business as well as the deep technical requirements needed to strategically solve problems in various modules, systems, and integrations. The individual will be able to break down complex technical concepts and provide business-side collaboration to meet AB’s immediate and long-term People systems strategies. This role will report to the manager of the People Digital Lifecycle team and will work alongside three other People Digital Lifecycle team members and our implementation partners for larger expansions of the platform.
What you'll do:
This role will be responsible for the technical needs for AB’s People Team department world-wide focusing primarily on analysis, design, configuration, and solution delivery via Workday. The current application portfolio includes, but is not limited to: Workday HCM, Recruiting, Absence, Payroll, Time Tracking, Talent/Performance, Learning and Compensation as primary responsibility. Workday supplemental platforms include CompXL (year-end compensation process), Alight (Benefits), Glint (Survey Engagement), and others.
Provide high-quality support and quick resolution for system configuration across all of AllianceBernstein’s People platforms, products, and solutions.
Design, configure, implement, and maintain Workday solutions in partnership with the People Team and business stakeholders to continuously improve, enhance, and expand our People Digital Technology Landscape with a focus on a seamless digital experience for employees end to end.
Create testing strategies, develop test cases and scenarios, execute testing plans, and monitor defect reporting for enhancements and expansions of technologies.
Training, Support, and Change Management in various capacities for People, Compensation, Payroll, and at times, business stakeholders and employees.
Provide collaborative partnership with colleagues, customers, and leaders to achieve business goals, execute our roadmap, and focus on our long-term strategy.
Provide root cause analysis regarding operational issues related to configuration across platforms.

What we're looking for:
Enthusiastic and ambitious problem solver
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
Up to five years of combined experience developing and delivering technical solutions in a corporate environment.
Proven ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams including business users and other technology teams
Strong written skills to accommodate quality technical documentation
Experience working with Agile methodologies and framework
