Our client's Global Distribution is seeking an Archiving Assistant to support their Fulfillment Operations team. This person will work onsite in Universal City, CA for 3 months, 40 hours per wek (with the potential to extend).
The position entails purging of press kit and publicity materials with a focus on preserving master sets and disposing of excess materials. Please note that this role involves physical lifting and handling of storage boxes and file cabinet contents.
Qualifications:
-Minimum 1 year of archiving experience
-Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
-Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Desired Characteristics:
-Excellent attention to detail and time management. " Ability to lift and move storage boxes.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This position is classified as on-site and requires working from the office five days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
-Retrieve one complete set of press kit materials from each title in file cabinets and organize them into labeled storage boxes.
-Accurately number and label each storage box with provided labels.
-Dispose of remaining press kit sets and other materials in designated purge containers.
-Purge all pack and ship materials and title letterhead from filing cabinets and adjacent spaces.
-In the Copy Room: purge all negatives stored in cardboard covers within vertical wooden storage spaces.
- In the Annex Room: pull one press kit from each Polygram title box, label and store appropriately; purge all extras.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
