Assistant Digital Designer
Job Description
Location: Onsite listed in Memphis, TN, Nashville, TN, Knoxville, TN, Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, Tampa, FL, Miami, FL, Orlando, FL, Birmingham, AL, New Orleans, LA, Baton Rouge, LA, Lafayette, LA, Houston, TX.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Create user interfaces, using front-end code in HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Use the web content management system to edit/create pages and assist others with adding/editing content in the CMS
- Make recommendations for improving web sites
- Ensure SEO best practices are followed in all created materials.
- Ability to collaborate with other web, Marketing partners and IT resources
- Create wireframes, user interfaces and comp designs
- Focus on solution-oriented content and user experience
Skills and Experience required:
- Creative execution with an online portfolio of design samples
- Experience with HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with Content Management Systems
- Closely follow trends and developments in technology and integrates them into our environment and practices.
- Self-directed and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design and Development or equivalent work experience
Other skills preferred:
- Experience with Agile development practices
- Examples of working with dynamic, data-driven internet applications
- Sitecore Cloud -specific experience
- Experience with SEO
