Hyatt Regency Jacksonville
The Assistant Engineering Manager is responsible to assist the Director of Engineering and Assistant Director of Engineering with oversight of the operation of the hotel. This includes the inside as well as the outside of the building. This person must be knowledgeable in HVAC, Refrigeration, and Electrical Engineering.
Ability to read blue prints and schematics is also required. A strong working knowledge of all major building systems, including life-safety systems, is required for this position. Good communication skills are necessary. Additionally, this position requires strong leadership skills.
Qualifications
Open scheduling availability including weekends and holidays
Minimum 3 years engineering experience in hotel capacity
Strong knowledge of MEP
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
Able to multitask and prioritize assignments
