This person oversees the different functions of the food and beverage areas including banquets, restaurant, room service and bar at different times within the hotel. Responsibilities may include scheduling and training of staff.

Oversee daily operations ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages
Handle customer complaints and feedback, ensuring guest satisfaction and implementing improvements as necessary
Monitor financial transactions and budget adherence, including payroll

Salary Hourly Range:56,000-79,000

Responsibilities include:

Support hotel leadership by developing and assuming key management responsibilities

Assume the role of liaison between all departments within the food & beverage division and all other hotel departments

Supervise departmental performance and provide them council

Manage hourly room service and restaurant employees through scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, evaluating and hiring

Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results

Monitor ordering, labor cost, and quality and consistency on a daily basis ensuring financial performance and control

Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment

Organize and facilitate departmental meetings, training and goals setting

Salary Range: $56,000-79,000

Qualifications

Previous experience in Hotel Room Service, Stewarding, Fine Dining, and Beverage strongly preferred.
Possess strong leadership, communication, organization and relationship skills
Experience with training, financial management and customer service
Proficient in general computer knowledge
A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast paced customer service environment
Previous luxury brand experience preferred
Previous experience with managing in a union environment strongly preferred
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
