As the Talent Acquisition Assistant, Legal, you will provide administrative support to the Legal Talent Acquisition Team and Hiring Partner as requested to attract, recruit and hire highly qualified law students and experienced attorneys to meet the Firm’s needs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain and update the recruiting database (LawCruit), including candidate records, interview schedules, evaluations, and reports for all lateral and summer associate hiring.

  • Coordinate all aspects of lateral recruiting—data entry, scheduling, candidate communications, file management, expense processing, and onboarding support.

  • Assist in planning and executing On-Campus Interview (OCI) programs, including logistics, scheduling, candidate communications, committee coordination, and statistical reporting.

  • Support the Summer Associate Program through event planning, communications, training logistics, work assignment tracking, evaluations, and other program initiatives.

  • Help organize law school events, including attorney participation, logistics, and follow-up with students and career services offices.

  • Prepare and distribute interview schedules; greet candidates; collect feedback; and compile evaluation summaries.

  • Draft and distribute offer and declination letters for candidates.

  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure smooth onboarding of new attorneys and summer associates.

  • Process recruiting-related expenses, manage departmental materials and supplies, and assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years of relevant experience, ideally in a law firm or law school career services setting.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable working with databases; experience with LawCruit preferred.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional, responsive, and collegial demeanor.

  • Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential information.

  • Self-starter with strong initiative; able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Willingness to work occasional extended hours as required.

  • Occasional travel as required.
