TENURE-TRACK ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN ACCOUNTINGThe Accounting and Law Division at Babson College seeks applications for an anticipated tenure-track faculty position in Accounting beginning Fall 2026. Our expectation is to hire at the Assistant level but individuals with exceptional experience could be considered at higher levels. We seek intellectually curious colleagues who are aligned with our mission of educating responsible entrepreneurial leaders who create economic and social value everywhere. The primary responsibility involves developing and teaching various accounting courses in our undergraduate and graduate programs at our Wellesley, Massachusetts campus and in our hybrid programs. The typical teaching load for our tenure-track faculty is four or five courses per year. Faculty are expected to develop and maintain a portfolio of contributions to scholarship. Further, successful faculty will engage in service and leadership opportunities within the division, the college, and/or the greater academic or practice communities. This is an in-person position.

A successful applicant is an individual who:* Holds a PhD from an accredited college or university and, preferably, holds a professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA).* Is enthusiastic about teaching accounting for an entrepreneurially focused, global, and multi-cultural student population.* Preferably has practical experience and understands the linkages between accounting and business.* Presents the "why" as well as the "what" and "how" when teaching accounting.* Uses technology and innovative methods in course delivery.* Works as a team player and collaborates with faculty in the accounting group and across disciplines, both in college service and in integrated teaching contexts.* Is experienced with and committed to working in ways that will support and enhance the College's commitment to teaching that is aligned, engaged, and inclusive.* Will develop a portfolio of scholarship that will benefit academics and practitioners.* Will be a collegial, engaged member of the community and dedicated to the success of the College and to the delivery of quality education to our students.
