Job Description

Under direct oversight, implement and maintain contract pricing for prime vendor and non-prime vendor accounts for branded products. This is a learning role focused on supporting the more entry-level and smaller vendor accounts. The position will serve as a starting point for most coming into this area.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain or receive data from vendors to maintain contract pricing and tier eligibility.

  • Create all necessary contracts, added items, and make any appropriate changes.

  • Make determinations for customer start and end dates for customer pricing and vendor rebating using established department standards.

  • Ensure contracts are set up correctly and customers are aligned to the correct contracts.

  • Maintain standard operating procedures for each vendor’s portfolio.

  • Resolve rebate discrepancies.

  • Work and coordinate with Chargeback team on resolution.

  • Work with vendor community to research and resolve contract misalignments and contract related issues.

  • Communicate all aspects concerning fulfillment of contractual obligations with contracting parties.

Requirements

Education

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field.

Work Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience providing customer service to internal and/or external customers including meeting quality standards for services.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Experience providing customer service to internal and/or external customers including meeting quality standards for services.

  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts and pivot tables, using text wrap, sorting, vlookups, and if statements).

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$56,160.00 - $78,520.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
