Position Overview

Treehouse Builders is looking for an enthusiastic person with a minimum of 2 years of residential production building management experience to join our Construction team as an Assistant Residential Construction Superintendent. Successful candidates will have exceptional communication skills with a commitment to quality and a bias for action.


What You Will Do

  • Assist the Project Superintendent with planning, scheduling, implementation & coordination of quality-built homes from development through final construction on a timely & economic basis.
  • Involvement in managerial oversight of homes.
  • Coordination, oversight & management of people, materials & schedules.
  • Direct & monitor the progress of a variety of projects.
  • Oversee the scheduling, delivery & use of materials, the quality of construction, worker productivity & compliance with building/safety codes. Maintain safe, clean, and compliant job sites.
  • Understand scopes of work, plans, construction methods & regulations.
  • Schedule and manage subcontractors and subcontractor relationships in order to build homes on schedule and close on time.
  • Ability to perform minor handyman-type jobs as needed to maintain quality (must have tools to complete required tasks).
  • Occasional travel may be necessary as needed
  • Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management
  • Must hold and maintain a valid Driver’s License as required for the role.
  • Must be able to complete all physical requirements of this role with or without a reasonable accommodation

Ideally, You'll Have

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant construction experience.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with management, designers, sales teams, trade partners, vendors, and customers; maintain professionalism and customer satisfaction throughout the building process.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and collaborate with individuals at various levels; motivate partners and trades to perform to quality and safety standards.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet established deadlines.
  • Proficiency with computers and software applications used for scheduling and communication.
  • Knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and terminology; ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
  • High attention to detail and persistence in follow-up to ensure tasks are completed accurately.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency while maintaining quality standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

You'll crush it if you have experience with

  • Can analyze & resolve problems. Excellent organizational, leadership & communication skills.
  • Be decisive, flexible & work well under pressure when faced with unexpected situations or delays and in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred industry experience in Residential (single & multi-family) and Commercial Construction
  • Software Experience in Hyphen/Buildpro/Supplypro

Pay Range

USD $70,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.
Additional Compensation

This role is eligible for a discretionary bonus, typically 10% of base salary annually, depending on individual and organizational performance. This role also includes a $700 monthly auto allowance paid per Company policy and payroll practices.

The compensation range listed reflects the base salary or hourly rate that we reasonably and in good faith expect to offer for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, certifications, seniority, geographic location, and business needs.

This role may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, including bonuses, commissions, stipends, or non-cash incentives, depending on position and performance. Benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other role-based offerings, subject to eligibility requirements.

All compensation components are subject to change based on business needs or market conditions.
