Northmarq seeks a motivated individual to join its expanding team in Houston, TX as an Associate (Broker). This presents an opportunity for adaptable individuals with a strong work ethic and ambition to thrive in a sales role within an environment that fosters collaboration. Working alongside senior brokers, the Associate will gain valuable experience in Commercial Real Estate, specializing in Retail Investment Sales, with the potential for unlimited earnings and growth.
Position Responsibilities:
- Engage in prospecting through cold calling and utilizing various resources to identify new leads.
- Research new leads to uncover, identify and connect within target markets.
- Collaborate with the marketing and analytics team to create tailored proposals.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations.
- List and promote retail investment properties.
- Cultivate relationships with influential decision-makers.
- 1-3 years of investment sales transaction experience.
- Currently holds a Salesperson/Broker license or is willing to begin process to obtain one within 30 days of starting.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is advantageous but not obligatory.
- Knowledge of Commercial Real Estate is preferred.
- Demonstrated self-motivation and a willingness to exceed expectations.
- Proficiency in critical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, and adeptness in research.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
- Strong work ethic coupled with a drive for excellence.
- Strong client service mindset
