Associate Director, Forecasting Product Management will work within the Human Health Digital, Data, and Analytics (HHDDA) division where we are realizing the vision of a cohesive commercial decision support product suite, helping stakeholders make data-driven decisions to optimize delivery of our medicines to patients.This role will contribute to the development and activation of our advanced internal forecasting products.

As an AD of product management for one of our hallmark digital products, you will be part of a team responsible for defining the strategy, vision and roadmap of the product. You are an ideal candidate for the role if you bring in a diverse set of skills and experience in building and scaling technology products for internal users, while collaborating across cross-functional groups evaluating tradeoffs among competing priorities. This role might be for you if you are excited about problem-solving, critical thinking to break down complex issues, and devising creative solutions to meet the needs of the business, and you are customer obsessed, data-driven, and is able to operate with minimal supervision.

In this role, you will report into the Director of Product for forecasting products. You will seek to deeply understand customer needs and our business goals to co-create the vision and strategy for the product. You will work with cross-functional peers from marketing, finance, software and data engineering, data science, design etc. to execute against this vision. You will partner with your colleagues from product success and local market activation teams to enable the adoption and success of the product. You will help your product leader put together business cases to secure buy-in and alignment with our senior leaders to secure the necessary funding to manage the product throughout its lifecycle.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Product vision and strategy:

Defining the overall vision, goals, and long-term roadmap for forecasting products, considering user needs, scalability, and costs.

  • Feature prioritization:

Identifying and prioritizing features based on their business impact and user value, creating a product backlog.

  • Requirements gathering:

Translating user needs into detailed product requirements for the development team.

  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams:

Working closely with engineers, designers, marketers, and sales teams to ensure alignment on product vision and execution.

  • Product development process management:

Partnering with product delivery teams on the development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.

  • Metrics and analytics:

Collaborating with product success teams to track key product metrics to measure success and identify areas for optimization.

  • Market research and feedback loop:

Collaborating with market activation teams in gathering customer feedback through surveys, interviews, and usage data to understand pain points and identify opportunities for improvement

to inform future product iterations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science or a related field

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a business-facing software product

  • Experience in stakeholder management, representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new business-facing software and capabilities

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a business-facing software product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience collaborating with design teams, establishing adoption metrics, incorporating user feedback and usability considerations into product roadmaps

Expected US salary range:

$153,800.00 - $242,200.00
