The Associate Talent Team at Morgan Lewis is committed to fostering associate success by facilitating best-in-class attorney recruiting, coaching, and professional development programs. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Associate Talent, this position executes, coordinates, and continuously improves associate talent programs, initiatives, and offerings across the globe.

A collaborative self-starter with outstanding attention to detail and interpersonal skills, the Associate Talent Coordinator position provides the opportunity for an experienced professional to closely support the Associate Talent Team across a range of department functions and interface with firm leadership on firmwide talent efforts that advance our commitment to making Morgan Lewis a destination firm for exceptional associate talent.

This position can be located in Washington DC, Philadelphia, or Boston and a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule is available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support global associate initiatives, including integration, mentoring, evaluations, and engagement programs.

  • Conduct research and data analysis on internal metrics and market trends; summarize insights and recommend actions to enhance talent strategy and processes.

  • Prepare presentations, reports, and communications for leadership related to surveys, recruiting, compensation, and development initiatives, amongst others.

  • Coordinate firmwide projects through planning, execution, and cross-team collaboration with Marketing, PR, HR, and other departments.

  • Serve as a key contact for Global and Local Committees on Associates; organize meetings, manage communications, and oversee operations.

  • Manage relationships with external consultants and vendors.

  • Support events and meetings, including talent roadshows, summits, and strategy sessions, through logistics and materials development.

  • Track budgets and identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Maintain strong communication with regional Associate Talent teams to ensure alignment and share best practices.

  • Participate in firmwide and local associate programming and events.

  • Perform additional duties as needed to support legal talent initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required and a minimum of three years’ experience in a professional services environment (legal industry experience preferred). The equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with accuracy and composure.

  • Strategic, proactive, and collaborative team player who works effectively across functions and cultures.

  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and client-service orientation.

  • Ability to pivot and adapt quickly to shifting priorities and needs.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams); ability to learn new systems quickly.

  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

For positions in Boston, MA, and Washington, D.C., the salary range for this job posting is: $62,000.00- $99,200.00

The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an "at-will position" and the firm reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, firm or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
