Job Description
Our agency client is looking for an Associate Creative Director (ACD) to join their collaborative and close-knit team in Portland, OR (onsite 100%). If you have a passion for storytelling, design, and elevating brands, this is your chance to guide projects, lead teams, and help shape creative campaigns.
This ACD will:
- Project Leadership: Lead and co-lead projects, guiding teams to create compelling brand campaigns that tell strong, impactful stories.
- Client Interaction: Be the face of creative strategy, advocating for design solutions and team efforts during presentations and meetings with clients.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members across different disciplines in brainstorming sessions, work sessions, and other collaborative settings.
- Hands-on Design Work: Get involved in crafting designs, decks, and brand voice elements tailored to the needs of each client.
- Brand Elevation: Develop creative strategies to enhance brand identity and market presence, ensuring exceptional outcomes for campaigns.
- Production Coordination: Partner with production teams to execute ideas seamlessly.
This ACD must:
- Design or AD Background: Extensive experience in design or art direction (5+ years), with a proven track record in brand campaigns and storytelling.
- Client-Facing Skills: Strong ability to present and advocate for designs and creative concepts effectively, with thick skin to navigate constructive feedback.
- Software Proficiency: Skilled in Keynote, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Slack, Outlook, Zoom, and Apple products.
- Personable Team Player: Join a team of kind, diverse individuals with unique interest being part of a dynamic and supportive culture.
