Skills and Competencies

  • Sales Lifecycle Management: 5+ years of experience managing the full sales lifecycle process, including prospecting, pipeline management, forecasting, and negotiating complex, high-revenue deals is required
  • C-Level Engagement: An established track record of successfully developing a network of clients and nurturing deep relationships with C-Level prospects is essential for this role
  • Industry Expertise: A strong understanding of the Commercial Banking & Capital Markets sector is required to effectively market credit risk products and services
  • Thought Leadership: Experience in the publishing and delivery of thought leadership through research, publications, or speaking engagements is highly desired
  • Strategic Collaboration: The ability to work closely with internal product specialists, strategists, and marketing teams to leverage their expertise throughout the sales cycle
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills are necessary to understand client needs and position solutions effectively
  • Interest in exploring agentic AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
  • The position requires the ability to travel for client meetings and industry events.

Education

  • Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor's degree) is required
  • Graduate/second-level degree (e.g. MBA, Master's) is a plus

Responsibilities

Manage the full sales lifecycle to drive new business growth and deepen relationships within the Commercial Banking & Capital Markets sector.

  • Drive revenue growth by managing the full sales process, from identifying and initiating new opportunities to negotiating contracts
  • Act as the primary point of contact for senior executives, including Chief Risk Officers and Chief Financial Officers, at client companies
  • Prospect new clients and leverage existing relationships to meet and exceed established revenue targets
  • Generate new revenue from Moody's suite of credit risk products and services while defending and growing existing revenue streams
  • Collaborate with product specialists and other client-facing professionals to ensure comprehensive client coverage and satisfaction
  • Provide current and accurate sales forecasts and pipeline information to management
  • Represent Moody's at industry and company-sponsored events to enhance brand presence and network with key stakeholders
