Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an Eng Sr. Principal Sys as an AWS Provisioning Sr. Principal to join our team located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia supporting Enterprise Cloud Management Agency (ECMA) efforts to implement the architecture, required services, and facilitate adoption of Army Cloud (cARMY) services. The program provides Information Technology services and technical subject matter expertise (SME) to support overall strategy and migration to cARMY environment that currently includes Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure clouds at IL 2, 4, 5 and 6.

The successful candidate manages the AWS provisioning processes, services, and activities to meet the needs of the entire Army community on AWS cloud domains. Supports scaling to hundreds of potential accounts. Supports Enterprise Cloud Architect in management and governance practices to accommodate a multi-account/enclave organizational structure. Support Enterprise Cloud Architect and SMEs in management and governance practices to accommodate a multi-account/enclave organizational structure. Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, evaluates alternatives including cost, risk, supportability and analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions. Translates customer requirements into hardware/software specifications.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of working experience, may substitute experience for education such as High School graduate with 12+ years of experience; candidates with Armed Forces courses, extensive certification, and additional experience are highly encouraged to apply.
DoDM 8140.03 (former DoD 8570.01-M) Intermediate qualification (e.g. Security+ CA) within 6 months of starting position.
Must be located within 75 miles of ECMA at Ft. Belvoir, VA.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
