Job Description

Bilingual Consumer Marketing Specialist

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented, execution-driven Consumer Marketing Specialist to support a high-volume portfolio within an in-house agency environment. This role replaces an outgoing team member who can no longer support the capacity needs. The selected candidate will own the full lifecycle of Spanish-language marketing tactics, from initial intake through Veeva submission, MLR approval, translation workflows, quality checks, and FDA submission.

This individual will work independently, take full accountability for their book of work, and collaborate closely with agency partners, brand teams, and internal Spanish-speaking reviewers.

Location: Remote
Engagement: 40 hours/week through end of 2026
Start Date: Mid-March 2026

Why This Role Exists
Multiple brands require constant updates due to label changes, new brand initiatives, and ongoing program refreshes. The existing team member could not keep up with the fast-paced volume--this role is essential to ensure continuity, compliance, and timely delivery across marketing assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tactic Ownership & Execution
    • Fully own 20-50 tactics simultaneously across 10-15 brands.
    • Take each assigned tactic through the entire development and approval process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
    • Review English-language assets and determine which Spanish-language tactics and programs are impacted.
    • Manage updates required due to label changes, ensuring all connected assets are refreshed.
    • Serve as the primary owner of assigned tactics from start to finish--this is not a routing/traffic role.
  • MLR & Veeva Oversight
    • Conduct initial MLR review of English assets to understand scope of the Spanish update.
    • Manage Veeva submissions for Spanish-language MLR review and approval.
    • Partner with internal reviewers and agency partners to ensure Veeva documentation is accurate and complete.
    • Guide assets all the way through FDA submission post-MLR approval.
  • Translation & Quality Assurance Workflow
    • Send English assets to agency partners for translation.
    • Perform or coordinate internal Spanish-language reviews with Lilly teams.
    • Ensure translation accuracy, cultural nuance, and brand alignment.
    • Conduct quality analysis before all submissions.

Qualifications

  • Required:
    • Spanish fluency (written + verbal) or strong experience with MLR review, preferably in pharmaceutical or highly regulated industries.
    • Hands-on experience with Veeva and MLR workflows.
    • Proven experience developing or managing marketing tactics, not just routing them.
    • Strong understanding of consumer or patient-facing marketing assets.
    • Ability to independently manage high volume with tight deadlines.
  • Nice to Have:
    • Agency experience (in-house or external).
    • Experience in consumer, multicultural, or patient marketing.
    • Familiarity with FDA submission processes.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Exceptional attention to detail
    • Highly organized
    • Strong communicator
    • Culturally aware and sensitive to nuance
    • Agile, flexible, and comfortable in a fast-changing environment
    • Confident in defending decisions and recommendations
    • Able to work independently while maintaining proactive collaboration
