The Blue Book Project Management Analyst – Diamonds will lead Blue Book projects to ensure the delivery of the highest quality of product, accuracy of pricing updates, and managing due dates while driving speed to market goals. The Analyst will collaborate effectively with cross functional teams (CM, PD, Design, GA, DD, and TGL) and the supplier base for diamonds. The Analyst will have strong project management skills and serve as the subject matter expert for pricing to supply competitive estimates. The Analyst will partner with the Tiffany Grading Lab (TGL) to facilitate and ensure timely delivery of the process at each development stage, while managing procurement and coordinating all stages up to product signoff.
Key Accountabilities
Project Management -Blue Book Projects
- Establish project milestones and develop project plans to meet objectives, maintaining accuracy of the Diamond Acquisition & Gemstone Acquisition masterplan.
- Execute all deliverables for Blue Book Projects from the R&D phase to sign-off completion.
- Communicate key project milestones and deliverables to supplier base and cross functional partners to ensure project timeline is upheld.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation to monitor and track key milestones progress throughout development.
- Stone management oversight: partners with the operations team to request stones to be shipped in and out of 200 as required for presentations as well as work order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate counts of all BB related safe locations; ensure that stones are bagged with designs.
- Upload of Sarins as required to support timely manufacturing to the appropriate Blue Book Teams folder.
- Identify project risk and work closely with the DA Director on mitigation plan.
- Ensures data integrity is sustained throughout and upon completion of procurement.
- Process Improvement to target speed-to-market company goals.
Reporting and Analysis
- Maintain and analyze key deliverables (status report) on all projects within the department.
- Build and execute process improvements to meet speed to market goals.
- Maintain process and discipline, support divisional standards.
Procurement Management
With Cross functional teams:
- Manage off-line procurement demand.
- Organize agendas, presentations, and recaps for department-led cross functional meetings.
With Suppliers:
- Purchase Order management as needed to fulfill BB and Loose stone consignment orders.
Complies with safety and security operating procedures as described by the manager and through safety training programs. Reports safety and security-related observations and incidents to the manager.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree
- Strong Project Management Skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office-Word, Excel)
- Basic Materials Resource Planning (MRP) knowledge
- Ability to travel based on business needs
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational, follow-up and problem-solving skills
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience in project and/or process management in a leadership capacity
Preferred Qualifications
- Gemological Degree (Graduate Gemologist)
The hiring range for this position ranges from $70,125.00 - $82,500.00. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
