Our financial client's internal creative agency team is seeking a Brand Designer to join their team for the next 18 months, 40 hours/week.
This role is hybrid, onsite in Austin, TX 3 days/week (Mon, Wed, Thurs). 2 days are work from home.
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Brand Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing brand expression elements across various channels, including print, digital, mobile, and social media. This role requires a deep understanding of graphic design layout, color theory, typography, and style guide creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement brand expression elements across multiple channels (print, digital, mobile, social).
- Create and maintain graphic design layouts, ensuring a strong understanding of color theory (CMYK, RGB, HEX), typography, and style guides.
- Develop concepts and design systems that align with marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with web designers to ensure familiarity with standards-based web design and the capabilities of HTML5, CSS3, Flash, and responsive design.
- Work within content management systems, design templates, and brand standards.
- Stay updated on emerging design trends, web technologies, and innovations.
- Design for interaction, touch screens, and mobile platforms with a passion for user-centered design and development processes.
- Manage large-scale interactive projects, meeting tight deadlines and handling a high volume of work with geographically dispersed teams.
- Collaborate across disciplines and develop partnerships with agency and marketing partners.
- Maintain a positive attitude and flexibility in a fast-paced environment with changing demands.
- Articulate a strong point of view and passion for the financial services industry.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Communicate effectively with excellent verbal and written skills.
- Deliver a wide range of large and medium-scale projects successfully.
Qualifications:
- BFA degree in Design or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in enterprise and/or interactive agency environments.
- Proven track record of success in delivering large and medium-scale projects.
- Experience in highly regulated environments or financial institutions is a bonus.
- Prior experience in brand and agency settings is essential.
