Summary:
The Business Operations Analyst of Pro Formas plans, develops, and coordinates the preparation of pro forma financial statements to support strategic decision-making within the health care system. This includes analyses for mergers, acquisitions, scenario planning, and the addition of new service lines or providers.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Plans, develops, and implements pro forma financial statements in alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
- Prepares complex financial reports, charts, and schedules comparing historical, current, and projected revenue and expenditures.
- Conducts scenario analyses to evaluate potential business opportunities and risks.
2. Strategic Support
- Provides actionable insights to senior leadership and committees through presentations of pro forma results.
- Supports mergers, acquisitions, and practice expansions with detailed financial modeling and impact analysis.
3. Collaboration & Communication
- Maintains effective communication with Operations, Business Development, and administrative teams during pro forma preparation.
- Offers technical guidance to departments on pro forma methodologies and best practices.
4. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensures accuracy and compliance with GAAP, GASB, FASB, and state/federal regulations.
- Maintains precise accounting records and documentation for audit readiness.
5. Technology & Process Improvement
- Utilizes advanced financial systems and tools for analysis and reporting.
- Recommends process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Education Requirements:
● Master's degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
● No licensure or certification required.
Professional Experience Requirements:
● If Master's degree, one (1) year of experience in business analysis, financial management or financial analysis.
● If Bachelor's, Five (5) years of experience in business analysis, financial management or financial analysis.
● If Associate's degree, nine (9) years of experience in business analysis, financial management or financial analysis.
● If high school/GED, thirteen (13) years of experience in business analysis, financial management or financial analysis.
