Central Utility Plant Operator

Description:You will be the Utility Operator for the Central Utility Plant team. Our team is responsible for operating and maintaining the equipment that keeps our facilities running smoothly.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Utility Operator, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment in the Central Utility Plant and Industrial Waste Water Treatment operations. You will also monitor and adjust systems to maintain optimal performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Operating and monitoring Central Utility Plant and Industrial Waste Water equipment
* Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment
* Conducting periodic inspections and preventative operations (e.g., repacking bearings, changing oils)
* Maintaining operational logs and related paperwork
* Communicating equipment status changes to other shifts
* Keeping your work area clean and orderly
* Aiding and assisting colleagues, including training and instructing when necessary

Basic Qualifications:
* Two (2) to Three (3) years' experience.
* High school degree or equivalent.
* Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Desired Skills:
* Centrifugal pump experience maintaining and rebuilding.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 7-Day Continuous Operator
