Job Description Summary
Provide customers with personalized ongoing financial advice customized to meet immediate and long-term financial goals by leveraging a broad range of Transamerica and third-party product solutions and services.Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide professional financial advice to a virtual customer base through the Virtual Advice Center in areas such as retirement planning and financial wellness (e.g. life, advisory, annuity, IRA rollover).
- Manage and build client relationships by providing a needs-based approach to long term financial planning.
- Assist clients nearing retirement with high AUM and complex financial situations, often requiring financial planning analysis. Handle the most complex planning needs.
- Provide customers with education, guidance, and transparency around the analysis and solutions offered; assist with decision making.
- Ensure customer values and expectations are understood and remain at the forefront of the relationship.
- Work with specialists and fulfillment team members to implement recommended product solutions.
- Proactively manage multiple ongoing relationships through regular follow-up calls to review customer goals and satisfaction with services.
- Keep abreast of product, policies and regulations.
- Coach and mentor less experienced team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent professional experience
- Ten years of financial advisor experience, including comprehensive retirement/financial planning
- Expert level knowledge of financial products
- FINRA Series 6 or 7, 63 and 65 or 66; (or) Series 6, 63 and 65; (or) Series 7 and 66; (required to be approved to do business in all states)
- Life, LTC, and Annuity licenses
- CRCP
- Ability to articulate complex personal finance, investment, insurance, tax, and estate planning topics in layman terms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to engage with customers, ask questions, share thoughts, and offer solutions
- Outstanding communication, presentation, time-management, and organizational skills
- Customer service, interpersonal, and listening skills to effectively communicate with customers, earn trust and build lasting relationships
- Proactive contributing team player able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient using MS Office and financial planning tools

Compensation
**Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to applicable pay transparency and compensation posting laws. It is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.**
Total Compensation for this role is estimated to be $125,000 - $150,00 per year.
Base Compensation:
The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $75,500 annually.
Bonus Eligibility:
This position is also typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion at a rate of 5%.
Commissions:
This position may be eligible to earn commissions based on applicable sales incentive plan(s). All details pertaining to the calculation and payment of those commissions are available in the individual provisions of the sales incentive plan that applies
