Job Summary

This is an incremental position, is for one-year, and will end 6/30/2027. Primary responsibilities will be patient care as directed by the faculty in the Cardiothoracic Division at the University Hospital. Along with clinical duties, it is expected that will participate in the training program for medical students and residents. Approximately 20% of professional time will be devoted to teaching. No administrative responsibilities will be assigned at this time.

Required Qualifications*

M.D. or equivalent, ABR- certified or has passed the core examination, and fellowship training in cardiothoracic radiology, and the ability to obtain a medical license in the state of Michigan. Including DEA License.

Modes of Work

Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Work agreements are reviewed annually at a minimum and are subject to change at any time, and for any reason, throughout the course of employment. Learn more about the work modes.

Background Screening

Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third-party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act.
