Position Overview

The Community Concierge plays a vital on-site role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the leasing office of the property. From conducting prospect tours and follow-ups to spearheading internal and outreach marketing endeavors, resident retention efforts, and overnight on-call duties, they are the cornerstone of resident satisfaction and community engagement. Additionally, the Community Concierge may assist with various clerical or office-related tasks as required, showcasing adaptability and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of their role.


What You Will Do

  • Ensure availability to work a minimum of 15 hours each week, as determined by the Community Manager
  • Commit to working full shifts, which consist of a minimum of 3 hours per shift on-site at the property.
  • Be flexible to work additional hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
  • Assist with move-outs, turn, and move-ins that extend beyond normal part-time hours
  • Complete all prospect tours of the community
  • Responsible for following up with assigned prospects in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for planning, implementing, and performing marketing duties and resident events
  • Maintain Lifestyle by Core brand standards across the community 
  • Assist in securing partnership opportunities for the community 
  • Curate content for social media and marketing materials 
  • Post to social media as directed by the Community Manager 
  • Create marketing materials using Canva
  • Responsible for evening and/or overnight on-call and round duties
  • Present to student organizations and attend sponsored events on behalf of the community
  • Assist in outbound marketing and leasing activities as needed
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the Community Manager
  • Ensure compliance with all Core Spaces Policies and Procedures
  • Responsible for ensuring product presentation always meets brand and company standards

Ideally, You'll Have

  • High School Diploma or comparable degree
  • Proven ability to lead and contribute effectively within various organizational settings or groups
  • The utmost level of integrity in all instances, and shows respect towards others and towards company principles

You'll crush it if you have experience with

  • Ability to write and speak effectively using appropriate conventions based on the situation
  • Actively listening to others, asking questions to verify understanding, and providing feedback with tact and consideration
  • Efficiently using time by prioritizing and planning work activities
  • Sharing key information with others involved in a project or effort, working in harmony to accomplish objectives, responding with enthusiasm to directives, and showing support for departmental and organizational decisions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite 

Physical Demands

  • Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow or slippery surface.
  • Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner
  • Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, as required by the demands of the job. This may include bending, stooping, and lifting throughout the workday.
  • Bending, stooping and reaching several times through a shift.
  • Must be able to see clearly with or without corrected vision.
  • Ability to drive to and from client locations, this may involve sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers
  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)

Work Environment

  • Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation
  • Occasionally participates in property walks or outdoor marketing events where walking and standing for longer periods is necessary
  • Moderate noise (examples: business office with computers and printers)

Work Hours/Schedule

  • Additional workload and hours may be required during the turnover period on site.
