Content Creator for Tech Conference
Job Description
Our client is the marketing team of a manufacturing/tech company in the photonics industry. We're seeking a Content Creator who's comfortable being in front of the camera with hands-on skills to film, edit, and create interactive and engaging social media content for a major industry conference in January 2026 based in San Francisco, SPIE Photonics West. Our client will have a booth at the event, targeting a design engineering audience.
The Marketing leads will provide direction to the Content Creator on types of deliverables and content that they'd like executed to be posted on LinkedIn and possible other social media channels. Estimated total hours are around 25 including the onsite portions and content creation.
The Content Creator will create content before, during, and after the event. The content beforehand will be a couple of posts to promote and drive traffic to the event. Then the Content Creator will attend the conference for 5 days in January (Saturday the 17th and Sunday the 18th, then Tues-Thurs, the 20th-22nd) to capture live footage during the event and ideally create 1 or a few short videos each day to post. The Content Creator will be asked to interview upper management and product-focused engineers in the booth about the products they want to promote. Then the content afterwards will be for our client to use and repurpose.
The Content Creator will also attend a customer appreciation event at a Golden State Warriors game on Tuesday night, January 20th. Customers are mostly in the OEM or Engineering space.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
