Job Description
Position Overview
Our client is the Content Planning & Merchandising team of a global tech leader seeking a Content Curation Coordinator, know as the Specialist, Curation and Merchandising. This is a 6-month, 40 hours/week assignment with likely extension that will be onsite 2 days/week (Mondays and Fridays) in the LA office.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain engaging curations across the TV product to drive engagement and support monthly editorial beats. Placements include Kids and Music pages, and special collections for K-Content, Movies, TV Shows, Anime, News, and other strategic initiatives
- Develop and maintain curations for editorial tentpoles (Holidays, DEI, and genre categories)
- Execute effective banner promotions and elevated curation placements to spotlight content and channels
- Participate in monthly and quarterly execution meetings to pitch tactics that support strategic partnerships and editorial tentpoles.
- Become an expert with the team's in-house curation tool, and test and build out new features as applicable
- Build, QC, and schedule priority curations as applicable
- Execute weekly releases as backup to an offshore team
- Work closely with Asset Management team to resolve any asset issues and ensure assets are fully onboarded in time for curation
- Use data to guide decision-making, evaluating curations and adjusting strategy as applicable
- Ad hoc tasks as needed, including analysis of competitive landscape, monitoring industry trends, and maintaining team exhibits and editorial calendar
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in content curation or TV programming
- Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel) and understanding of CMS, MAM, metadata and tagging content
- Passion for and broad knowledge of pop culture and entertainment
- Experience using content and data analysis to inform programming decisions
Nice to Have:
- Consumer-facing OTT video experience
- Experience with kids or international programming
- Airtable experience
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
