Based on our internal equity review process, the starting salary for this position will be $19.88
The current full hourly range for this position is $19.88 -$23.28.
Join our amazing Customer Service team at one of our community centers! Our centers are a safe, healthy place for youth, adults, and families to play, learn, and grow. Centers include a gymnasium, an indoor aquatics center (ECC and Peoples), fitness area, Teen Center with computers, Senior Hub for our older community members, private rental spaces, and more. This position will be responsible for greeting visitors, providing information, engaging with community, answering questions, supporting rentals and selling memberships, rentals, programs and activities at the Center.
The Customer Service Assistant III serves as a shift lead-level customer service representative, responsible for front-line customer service, administrative support, and site supervision. This role performs all duties of Customer Service Assistant I and II, while also providing direction, training, and oversight to staff, volunteers, and the facility during assigned shifts.This position is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with the public, supporting a diverse team, and building meaningful relationships with community members, staff, and youth.
We are currently hiring for Eastside Community Center, Peoples Community Center and STAR Center.
**Applications are reviewed as they are received. This position will remain open until filled.**Provide a high level of customer service to patrons during a variety of events, programs, and rentals. Customer Service Assistants also responsible for providing assistance to Recreation participants and security for the facility.
In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to:
- Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
- Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.
- Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
- Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
- Observe applicable safety requirements, use safety equipment provided, implement appropriate safety practices at all times and report immediately any unsafe working conditions or hazards.
