Role Overview
We’re looking for a Customer Experience Specialist (CXS) to join our Travel & Events team in Minneapolis. In this role, you’ll be the key expert for registration management, ensuring smooth and accurate delivery of registration data for all Travel & Events programs. You’ll be hands-on with program efficiencies by tracking hours, vendor billing, and activity expense collection while preparing detailed client billing reports for vendors and program buy-ins. As the central point of contact between departments, you’ll also provide Cvent training to strengthen collaboration and create a more unified understanding across the Events Team. Scope of Work
- Own and manage the integrity of the registration database information throughout the lifecycle of each program incorporating charges through Cvent for activities or buy in programs
- Manage and communicate the financial health of the data management budget to actual hours throughout the lifecycle of each assigned program, communicating with management on resolution recommendations
- Collaborate with various departments on registration qualification, database set up requirements and database technology support. Provide web site review and testing feedback
- Act as a central point of contact within Travel & Events for registration throughout the lifecycle of each program
- Manage hotel room block, rooming list, attrition and penalties, as well as maintain activity counts within the database and any special requests
- Answer phone calls and manage emails from attendees on group programs within specific SLA
- Maintain client reporting requirements, both standard and custom, utilizing IT services as needed
- Actively participate in program briefings, debriefs and TD briefings.
- Provide data management support during program operations including traveling onsite to program destination when applicable. Collaborate with program Travel Directors/ on site team on participant changes
- Provide final program reporting for all clients/programs as requested and needed for billing
- Point of contact for Mobile App support and Customer Xperience
- Assist management in developing consistent processes and actively identifying and communicating best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 4 year degree or equivalent experience
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft office suite- advanced knowledge of MS Excel (Macros, V-lookup, formulas)
- 1+ years of operational business experience. Preferred – knowledge of the meeting/event industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of technology platforms from a business user perspective – preferred experience in travel suite of technology systems including Cvent
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

The maximum salary for this role is listed to provide insight into the top of our compensation range, which is determined by market data, internal equity, and the responsibilities of the position. The final offer may vary based on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
The maximum hourly rate for this role is $24.00.
