Position Description:
Data Software Engineer position will involve design, implementation, testing and launch of data pipelines for loading dealer data and generating analytical insights. The position requires a strong foundation in Big Data with knowledge of Python and SQL query language. The primary focus of invoves the migration of data landing and transformation jobs from Teradata to BigQuery leveraging Airflow / Astronomer. The data engineer will work closely with IT Team Members and Business Owners to underst various business processes and apply this knowledge to design and implement solutions.

Experience Required:
. 5+ years experience with ETL pipeline development . 5+ years experience RDBMS . Ability to lead and mentor associate engineers . Ability to clearly communicate with peers, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts . 5+ years experience of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience Preferred:
. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . Experience with BigQuery . Experience with Airflow / Astronomer
Education Required:
B.S. Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the requested field
