Job Purpose
The Data Scientist will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models and automation tools to enhance business processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with an understanding of advanced analytics, machine learning and process automation. The ideal candidate will have experience in translating complex data into actionable insights to drive business growth.

Key Accountabilities
- Develop, implement and deploy machine learning models, by mining big data, to solve complex business problems.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of machine learning models, ensuring they meet the desired outcomes. Continuously improve models based on feedback and new data.
- Automate data processing and analysis workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on the analysis of data and model performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning and related technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as R, SQL or Java.
1+ years of experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-learn, PyTorch or similar
Strong understanding of statistical analysis and mathematical modeling.
Experience in building and validating predictive models to forecast trends and behaviors.
Familiarity with data preprocessing and feature engineering techniques.
Knowledge of database systems and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Salary
$104,000 - $122,000 a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
