Designation: Delivery Project Lead

Location: WestLake, Texas

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Developer to join our team, working on projects for one of our largest clients in the Capital Markets domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and managing cutting-edge technology applications, with a focus on Mainframe technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and management of Mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• Manage and coordinate team activities to ensure timely sprint deliveries.
• Provide automation demonstrations and walkthroughs to client teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth QA delivery throughout the SDET lifecycle.
• Supervise data and environment coordination for project activities.
• Conduct automation meetings and provide accurate and timely status updates to the project team.
• Coordinate schedules for builds and fixes, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
• Design, develop, and implement test automation frameworks within a DevOps context.
• Participate in daily status calls to track project progress and address any issues.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficient in Mainframe Development with hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.
• Strong team management skills with experience in sprint delivery.
• Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in leading automation initiatives and providing client-facing demonstrations.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and story point estimation.
• Ability to work independently and manage a team in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of Splunk for monitoring and analysis.
• Enterprise COBOL is a deal-breaker skill.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with J2ME and Spring Boot is a plus.
• Experience in test automation framework design and implementation.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech), Engineering (BE), Computer Applications (BCA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), or equivalent technical degree from a reputed institution.
