Device SpecialistLocation: Wayzata, Minnesota (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Device Specialist to support a large-scale hardware refresh project involving approximately 80,000 devices. This role is central to coordinating the hardware lifecycle, ensuring a smooth transition to a 48-month lease cycle. The position involves working within an asset management system to maintain the flow of orders, communicating with internal teams and vendors, and contributing to the success of the device refresh initiative. This is a hybrid role requiring office presence 2-3 days per week and offers the potential for conversion to a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the hardware lifecycle process, from procurement to deployment.
- Ensure a continuous flow of hardware orders from vendors.
- Utilize an asset management system, specifically ServiceNow's Hardware Asset Management tool, for tracking and coordination.
- Communicate with internal teams, end-users, and external vendors to manage timelines.
- Contribute to forecasting, coordinating, and refreshing inventory to meet project goals.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to coordinate purchase orders as needed.
- Analyze data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
- 4-6 years of experience in a hardware-focused role.
- Experience with ServiceNow, particularly a Hardware Asset Management tool.
- A background in PC/hardware refresh projects and supply chain coordination.
- Knowledge of basic hardware specifications such as CPUs, RAM, and storage.
- An aptitude for working with numbers and interpreting data.
- The capability to take direction and execute tasks with a high degree of independence.
- Experience with Power BI for creating dashboards.
- ServiceNow Hardware Certifications.
- Experience with software asset management is considered a plus.
