Job Description

Step into the role of Digital Marketing Lead – Travel & Entertainment partners at Barclays, where you will partake in the creation, execution, and promotion of digital offers and new products. You’ll manage website and partner-side channels, examine the ecosystem in order to sell the products, provide different messaging to engage with customers in various journey placements, and handle prospecting by driving customers into the marketing funnel.

To be successful as a Digital Marketing Lead - Travel & Entertainment Partners, you should have experience with:

  • Leading multiple complex projects to completion under concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Managing marketing processes, timelines, creative development and dependencies while ensuring controls and governance standards are maintained

  • Creating, presenting, and executing digital marketing and paid media strategies that deliver profitable account growth and develop test plans to refine and optimize channel strategies

  • Using web platform tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics and Tableau) to analyse, measure, and interpret campaign results and provide insight-driven recommendations

  • Serving as a subject matter expert in the digital marketing field

  • Ample organizational, communication, and campaign management skills

  • Ability to advocate for business and self as it pertains to escalating issues before they become problems

  • Ability to share learned knowledge and collaborate with others

Purpose of the role

To develop, implement, and manage digital marketing platform and channels, including the management of the website, social media channels and marketing technology platforms

Accountabilities

  • Development and implementation of digital marketing strategies that aligns with the banks business objectives and are informed by market research, customer needs and competitive landscape.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, communications, and IT, to ensure alignment of digital marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Development of compelling and targeted content for various marketing channels, optimising of online content for search engines to improve organic search visibility and managing paid search campaigns for driving targeted traffic and conversion goals, as required.
  • Analysis of data to make informed decisions and optimize marketing strategies, use of data analytics tools to measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns.
  • Management of marketing technology platforms, where applicable.
  • Management and updating of digital marketing platform and channels such as website and social media channels, as needed.
  • Development of compelling and targeted content for various marketing channels, inclusive of partner channels and assets, where applicable.
