Client Leadership Director

Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Directors of Client Leadership to serve as primary client contacts and drive strategic, operational, and financial excellence across assigned brands. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage complex omnichannel marketing initiatives.

This is a 3 month, fully remote freelance role that will require 40 hours/week of availability. A computer will be sent to you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Leadership: Build and maintain trust-based relationships with mid-senior clients to secure long-term partnerships.
  • Business Planning: Develop annual scopes of work and oversee contracted deliverables.
  • Strategic Planning: Lead the creation and execution of omnichannel marketing plans, including brand, shopper, and retail media strategies.
  • Team Management: Mentor and lead account teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure timely, on-budget delivery of high-quality work aligned with business strategy and insights.
  • Financial Management: Own P&L, forecasting, and reconciliation for assigned brands; ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Business Development: Identify incremental growth opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed on industry trends and competitive landscape to guide strategic decisions.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business, or related field
    • 8+ years in CPG marketing or shopper marketing agency experience (Tier 1 manufacturer experience preferred)
    • Proven leadership experience managing teams of 2+
    • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to manage complex projects and financials with attention to detail
    • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement
